Godfrey Care are delighted to announce the promotion of Aaron Bushell to the role of PBS Clinical Practitioner.
Aaron’s journey with us began in 2021 when he joined one of our services as Support Worker, progressing to Team Leader and then PBS Clinical Associate in June 2024. A BSc (Hons) graduate in a science-related discipline, Aaron has also earned a Level 4 Certificate in Positive Behaviour Support and is currently working towards the BILD Level 5 Professional Diploma in PBS. As a Certified Master NAPPI Trainer, he has been instrumental in embedding the PBS Framework across Godfrey Care’s services—placing a strong emphasis on reducing restrictive practice and enhancing outcomes for those we support.
Andy Fairman, PBS Clinical Lead at Godfrey Care, said:
“At Godfrey Care, PBS is fully embedded within our complex care model. As a long term, evidence-based framework, PBS empowers individuals to lead meaningful lives in community based settings with care that is safe, least restrictive, and tailored to their unique needs. Since 2023, we have expanded our PBS Clinical Team as an integral part of our multidisciplinary support, collaborating with colleagues across clinical, operational, and residential services to co produce personalised plans from day one. Aaron has been a fantastic advocate of PBS and I know that he will have a hugely positive impact in his new role.”
Andy Barnes, Godfrey Care CEO, said:
“Congratulations to Aaron on this well-deserved achievement. It has been a joy to see him flourish over the past four years. Aaron’s journey to this new role is a testament to his talent, as well as Godfrey Care’s investment in the professional development of our colleagues and the pathways for long-term career progression available in the care sector.”
