Our Homes
St. George's Place
St. George’s Place comprises four single occupancy bungalows, two semi-detached and two detached, which have been carefully designed to suit individuals with profound or severe needs linked to their diagnosis of Learning Disability, Autism Spectrum Condition and associated challenging behaviours which might place themselves or others at risk.
Each bungalow comprises its own independent, self-contained living space including a spacious lounge, a separate kitchen area, a double bedroom and a bathroom. All homes have access to a garden/outdoor area with secure guest parking, and two of the homes have two bedrooms and a larger kitchen/dining area.
Each building has been designed in such a way that the risk of accidental damage or self-injurious behaviour is lessened based on the needs of the residents.
Features include toughened furniture and bathrooms fitted with ligature-resistant sanitary ware controlled by sensors rather than physical taps, all made from resin-based materials with piping and systems integrated into toughened walls, removing the risk of damage or self-harm.
These homes come with the 24-hour support of a skilled staff team, specially trained in positive behaviour management, autism and challenging behaviour. With extensive knowledge and experience of complex services, our Registered Manager works closely with the PBS lead to ensure that PBS plans are integrated throughout every stage, from initial assessment to transitions and day-to-day delivery of care, allowing the care team to deliver the best possible person-centred care.
